We're excited to offer campers a unique opportunity to spend extended time on the farm - in the WINTER! We'll take a winter hike through the pastures and woods, make warm and hearty stews, and enjoy hot cocoa around a cozy bonfire. Winter is also the time when we begin to welcome new life on the farm. We're anticipating having piglets, lambs, and maybe a new calf and goat kids to visit with. We're hoping for plenty of snow to play in. On Tuesday, campers will visit Winter Park and enjoy snow tubing.
Campers should bring a water bottle, sack lunch, and two snacks each day. We will be spending about half the day outdoors and campers should bring a bag with winter gear (snow pants, winter coat, boots, gloves/mittens, hat).
Registered families will receive a Handbook outlining specifics on what to wear and bring. There will also be a waiver that Parents are required to complete in order for their camper to tube at Winter Park.
This 2-day program is for elementary age students (currently attending Kindergarten through 5th grade).
Camp runs from 9:00a through 4:00pm each day. This is not an overnight program!
