Farm Investigations Series: Make the Most of Compost (Grades 3-5)

What IS compost and why is it so cool? Kids will check out our steaming hot compost pile at the farm to learn about all the microbes using scientific tools such as a microscope. They will also explore the inner workings of a worm farm and discover the benefits they provide to our soil.

Grades: 3-5

Cost: sliding scale based on what you can pay per child. (What is a sliding scale? Look here)

  • Option 1: Lowest Cost: $30
  • Option 2: Sustaining Cost: $35
  • Option 3: Pay it Forward Cost: $40

This is a child drop-off program. Parents are not able to attend with their child.
